What happens when a survey runs in one of your countries
Registering is an expression of interest, not a commitment. When a survey opens in a country you have chosen, we get in touch and this is what taking part looks like.

We invite you
We confirm that the survey is going ahead in that country and that your organisation fits the comparator panel.

You submit your data
You receive a questionnaire covering salaries, allowances and benefits for the positions in scope, and complete it for your organisation.

An analyst reviews it with you
A trained remuneration analyst goes through your submission with you, so that positions are matched accurately across the panel.

You receive the report
Every participating organisation receives the finished study for that country, free of charge, when the study is completed.
Confidentiality and data security
Your data is handled under a role-based access model by a small team of independent analysts, stored on EU-based servers for a limited period, with the principle of least privilege applied throughout. We communicate only anonymised, aggregated figures — market medians and percentiles — to HR specialists within MSF and at participating organisations. We never use the results commercially.
We use these details only to contact you about benchmark surveys. We do not share them outside MSF, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to benchmarking@oslo.msf.org.
