Data security

We use several layers of security protocols and mechanisms to protect data during storage, processing and transit.

Data is handled through a role-based access model, by a small team of independent analysts, with the utmost care and confidentiality. It is stored on EU-based servers for a limited period of time, and we apply the principle of least privilege throughout.

We communicate only anonymised, aggregated data — such as market medians and percentiles — to the parties entitled to receive it: HR specialists within MSF entities and at participating organisations.

We do not use the results commercially in any way.
